My Opinion
HHC is considered by many to be the closest altnoid we have to traditional D9 THC - I have found that excluding blends, I agree with this statement. On it's own you get a very sedating, peaceful, gradual, gentle experience that lacks a bit of head high but makes up for it with body high. The intensity level is just below that of D9 THC. All of this adds up to a high that lacks most of the paranoia of D9 or D8, making it decidedly the most "chill" psychoactive cannabinoid on its own. Amazing for newcomers - especially when paired with other low-anxiety cannabinoids like CBN.
Overall it may be the best-priced cannabinoid to date as it can very commonly be found for around a buck a gram. For something that is even mildly close to D9 in terms of effects, this is an unbeatable deal. Combined with cheap cnoids you can make a blend that is better than D9 at whatever effect you are trying to hit for around a dollar a gram.
9/10
What can HHC do for a blend?
-
When put alongside D8, it provides a powerful initial hit that makes my face feel fuzzy.
-
Alongside THC-O, it creates a very relaxing and dreamlike state. The lack of body high in THCo is totally fixed with this addition.
-
(In my personal experience) The kick from it in a blend can be felt between the first 1-10 minutes of a dab.
Other notes:
It's important to keep in mind that batches vary in quality based on R % values. Check out this article to learn more about that.
HHC is the gold standard "alt" cannabinoid. It's just such a rock solid awesome noid. Amazing as a base for a blend, and honestly if you're lazy and ok with the one dimensional high, it's pretty nice to just dab straight up too.
HHC is the one alt-noid I hope never goes away.
That said, I have noticed quality can vary wildly from vendor to vendor. Check your CoAs guys.
One of the best all around chad cannabinoids. It has WAY LESS anxiety compared to D9 THC Spectrum and even compared to HHC-P / HHC-H, maybe the best cannabinoid for people who get anxiety triggers from other cannabinoids. Although if you are a high tolerance user it is nearly just as weak as D8, with good body high at least.. I give it a 7/10 for me but it possibly is the best cannabinoid for newcomers.
This is the best and most consistent cannabinoid for me. Hhc-P lasts too long, hhcH doesn't do much.
Yeah I need to eat 150mg to get good effects from HHC. Vaped it is potent however.
Maybe this is just me, but I find the dose recommended for edibles very very low.
And this isn't just me, even people with little to no tolerance in my circle find 25 or 30 mg pretty mild.
I can say this applies to all of the noids on this website that I've tried but only eaten, the vaped dose is okay.
I feel the author is being overly cautious because I am yet to find someone who'd call 40 mg a "strong dose".
That said, BE CAREFUL and don't jump to a 100 mg dose just like that. But, if you have some tolerance, you'll probably be able to handle 60 or 70 mg no problem.
I really enjoy this cannabinoid. Just using it on its own in a vape cartridge. It has a really strong body high and a light-moderate head high and is brilliant for anxiety control and insomnia.
HHC is a sweet stable of altnoids, It is very beautiful red and usually completely odorless (no vinegar) it has the same consistency of Delta-8, The potency is maybe 1.1x D9 and 1.5x D8. The headspace is similar to delta 8, very focused, clean feeling, but it has tinge of the more classical high feeling vs something like delta 8 which can feel very wirey, and alternative. Great headspace for chores, workout, getting really high focus and also relaxing or recreation. its utility is what makes it a staple 9/10 noid.
