Credits for recipe go to Kale from tele dunno where he got it from. Here is Salve recipe Makes 36 oz IMPORTANT NOTES: Do not buy plastic containers; they will warp and plastics and terps/ essential oils do not mix well with plastic. Splurge for Alu or glass. More oil will make the salve butterier and less oil will make the salve firmer. Most recipes recommend 4-7x the amount of Beeswax as butter but, since this recipe incorporates Shea Butter you can use a little less. Ingredients:Beeswax 3.5 oz Shea butter (moisturizing) 3.5oz Oil (olive or coconut): 21-32 oz of oil Distillate: However much you need. If each tin is 1 oz and you want a 300 mg tin that's about 8400 mg - 11700 mg per batch Supplies:Pot Glass Bowl (for double boiler) Measuring Cups  Containers for tincture As for flavor; I’d recommend steeping your oil in the desired flavoring like lavender or vanilla bean or eucalyptus. If you don’t have time for that; go light on the essential oils because you do not want to go overboard or irritate your skin. Steps: Lay out supplies on the counter. Heat a pot of water and place a bowl in. Give it enough space from the waterline that it doesn’t boil over. When boiling place Beeswax first as it makes it easier to homogenize the mixture if you melt the wax first. Put Oil and  Sheabutter when the wax is melted. Stir every 5 minutes. I heated the mixture for about 20 mins but I also didn’t melt the wax first which was a mistake. YMMV Once all is homogenized, remove it from a makeshift double boiler with oven mitts. Pour into containers and let cool in the fridge. (originally when I made the recipe I kinda freaked out because it wasn’t solid. DW let it cool and it’ll get firmer.) They're all done. This recipe is really good because it moisturizes (shea), reduces inflammation (cbd) and for me personally helped insane muscle pains.
